Remisse may suspend or cancel accounts when there are reasonable indications of fraud, misuse, breach of these conditions, or risks to the safety of users, drivers or third parties, while respecting the applicable rights.

5. Rates and Payments

5.1. Rates

Service rates may be shown in US dollars (USD) or Peruvian soles (PEN), depending on the quote or the type of booking.

The applicable price will be the one stated in the quote or booking confirmation accepted by the client.

Rates may vary depending on:

  • Vehicle type and category.
  • Distance and duration of the service.
  • Pickup and destination zone.
  • Requested time.
  • Demand and availability.
  • Number of passengers and vehicles.
  • Additional services required.
  • Tolls, parking, permits or other applicable charges.

5.2. Quotes

Quotes are valid for the period indicated in each document or commercial communication.

A quote does not guarantee service availability until Remisse expressly confirms the booking and the established payment conditions are met.

Any change to the itinerary, schedule, number of passengers, number of vehicles or additional services may result in a change in price.

5.3. Taxes

Prices may include or exclude the General Sales Tax (IGV), as expressly stated in the quote.

When a receipt subject to IGV must be issued, it will be applied in accordance with current tax regulations.

Electronic invoices will be issued in soles, in accordance with applicable SUNAT regulations.

5.4. Payment methods

Remisse may accept, depending on the service and the conditions communicated to the client:

  • Credit or debit cards.
  • Bank transfers.
  • Yape.
  • Plin.
  • Other authorized payment methods.

Card payments may be subject to previously disclosed processing charges.

5.5. Booking confirmation

A booking will be considered confirmed when:

  • Remisse has accepted the request.
  • The client has received the corresponding confirmation.
  • The required payment has been made, when applicable.
  • The particular conditions stated in the quote have been met.

For bookings requiring a deposit, the percentage and payment deadline will be stated in the quote.

Failure to pay within the established deadline may result in the release of the previously reserved availability.

6. Cancellation, Voidance and Refund Policy

6.1. General provisions

These policies apply to bookings for events, groups, corporate services, multi-vehicle contracts and multi-day transport services, confirmed through a formal Remisse Peru quote.

Because these services may require reserving vehicles, drivers and staff in advance, cancellations are subject to the conditions established in this section.

The client accepts these conditions by confirming the booking and making the corresponding payment.

Refund percentages and penalties will apply to the total contracted amount, unless the formal quote expressly establishes a different condition.

These policies do not limit or replace the rights recognized to consumers under applicable Peruvian law.

6.1.1. Determining the notice period

To calculate the notice period of a cancellation:

  • The date and time the first contracted service begins will be used as the reference.
  • The date and time Remisse receives the cancellation request through its official channels will be considered.
  • Periods will be calculated in calendar days, unless the quote expressly states otherwise.

Requests received outside business hours may be processed the following business day, without prejudice to consumer rights or the particular circumstances of the case.

When the quote establishes special cancellation conditions, these must have been previously disclosed to and accepted by the client.

6.2. Cancellations with 60 days' notice or more

The client may request cancellation of their booking with 60 days' notice or more before the service start date.

In this case:

  • A 100% refund of the amount actually paid will be granted.
  • No cancellation penalty will apply.
  • The refund will preferably be made through the same payment method used by the client.

When third-party services were hired specifically for the event, the particular conditions of those services must have been previously disclosed to and accepted by the client.

6.3. Cancellation schedule for events, groups and corporate services

The following conditions apply to contracts for one or more vehicles at your disposal for more than one day, delegations, weddings, corporate events, multi-day tours, and other services requiring a special reservation of fleet or staff.

Notice before the service startRefundPenalty
60 days or more100%0%
46 to 59 days90%10%
30 to 45 days75%25%
15 to 29 days50%50%
8 to 14 days25%75%
7 days or less0%100%

Percentages apply to the total contracted amount, in accordance with the accepted quote's conditions.

When there are outstanding payments, the cancellation will be assessed according to the particular conditions of the contract and applicable law.

Penalties must be reasonably related to the conditions of the service and will not limit the consumer's non-waivable rights.

6.4. Cancellations of individual bookings

Regular individual bookings, airport transfers, hourly services and other services that do not qualify as events or multi-vehicle contracts are governed by the specific conditions communicated in the quote or booking confirmation.

When an individual booking requires special availability conditions, exclusive hire, a special vehicle, or additional services, these conditions must be expressly stated in the quote.

6.4.1. Immediate trips

On immediate trips, the passenger may cancel free of charge within the first 5 minutes after the booking is confirmed, provided the service has not started and there are no previously disclosed particular circumstances.

After that period, the cancellation conditions communicated for the service may apply.

6.4.2. Scheduled services

For scheduled services paid in advance, the specific conditions stated in the quote or booking confirmation will apply.

When no particular condition exists, Remisse will inform the client of the applicable refund amount based on the nature of the service, the cancellation notice period, and applicable law.

6.5. Voidance of bookings for non-payment

A booking may be voided when the client fails to make the required payment within the deadline stated in the quote or booking confirmation.

In these cases:

  • The booking may lose its confirmed status.
  • Remisse may release previously blocked vehicles, drivers and resources.
  • The originally offered availability may no longer be guaranteed.

If an advance payment was received, its treatment will be determined according to the applicable policy and the conditions accepted by the client.

Remisse will inform the client, when possible, of the booking's status before proceeding with the voidance.

Voidance for non-payment does not exempt the client from any obligations arising from services already rendered or validly incurred expenses.

6.6. Modifications and rescheduling

Requests to modify the date, time, route, number of passengers, or number of vehicles are subject to availability and must be reviewed by Remisse Peru's reservations department.

Remisse does not guarantee automatic rescheduling of a booking.

A modification that involves a significant reduction of the contracted service, or the release of previously reserved vehicles, may be considered a partial or total cancellation.

Any change must be expressly approved by Remisse and confirmed in writing.

Date changes may result in a rate change and are subject to current availability conditions.

6.7. Partial cancellations

When a contract includes several vehicles, several days of service, or different transport legs, the client may request the cancellation of part of the services.

The request will be assessed based on:

  • The services that remain.
  • The services being cancelled.
  • Amounts already paid.
  • Reserved resources.
  • The quote's particular conditions.
  • The notice period of the partial cancellation.

Remisse will inform the client of the applicable refund amount or, where applicable, the outstanding balance.

6.8. Procedure to request a cancellation

The client must request the cancellation in writing through Remisse Peru's official channels:

The request must include:

  • Client or company name.
  • Booking number or code.
  • Scheduled service date.
  • Reason for cancellation, when applicable.

The date and time the request is received will be used to determine the applicable notice period.

The cancellation will not be considered effective until Remisse confirms receipt of the request.

6.9. Refund conditions

When a refund applies:

  • The amount will be calculated in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy.
  • The refund will preferably be made through the same payment method used by the client.
  • Card payments may be subject to the processing timeframes of the financial institution or payment platform.
  • Bank-transfer refunds may require valid banking information for the payer.
  • Processing fees, bank charges or third-party fees must have been previously disclosed and will be handled in accordance with applicable law and accepted conditions.
  • Remisse will inform the client of the approved refund amount and the estimated processing time.

6.9.1. Remisse Credit

When available and expressly accepted by the client, Remisse may offer credit for use on future services.

The credit will state:

  • Amount granted.
  • Issue date.
  • Expiration date, when applicable.
  • Terms of use.

The credit does not automatically replace the right to a refund when one legally applies.

6.10. Cancellations by Remisse Peru

If Remisse Peru cancels a confirmed service for operational reasons attributable to the platform, or due to an inability to provide the service, the client is entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the service not rendered, in accordance with applicable law.

When the cancellation is due to force majeure or events beyond Remisse's reasonable control, the client will be informed and available alternatives will be assessed, including:

  • Rescheduling the service.
  • Replacing the vehicle, when possible.
  • Modifying the itinerary.
  • The applicable refund.

Remisse will endeavor to promptly communicate any circumstance that may affect the provision of the service.

6.11. Special conditions for events and corporate services

Bookings for events, delegations, conferences, weddings, large groups and corporate services may be subject to particular conditions due to:

  • Exclusive vehicle hire.
  • Booking of multiple drivers.
  • Hiring of additional staff.
  • Duration of the event.
  • Blocking availability for several days.
  • Hiring of external providers.
  • Special security, logistics or access requirements.

Any special cancellation, penalty, or refund condition must be expressly stated in the formal quote and accepted by the client before confirming the booking.

In case of discrepancy between these general conditions and the particular conditions of an accepted quote, the specific conditions will apply, provided they are clear, were previously disclosed, and comply with applicable law.

6.12. Acceptance of the policy

By confirming a booking and making the corresponding payment, the client declares having read and accepted these cancellation, voidance and refund policies, as well as the particular conditions stated in their quote.

7. User Responsibilities

The user agrees to:

  • Provide correct and up-to-date information.

The following criteria, among others, may be considered:
